Meet our friend Rich Uncle Pennybags, or as most would know him, Mr. Monopoly. This sharply dressed man is currently worth 7.1 Billion on the Forbes Fictional 15… How you ask? the business of Real Estate. Now his character is fictional yes, but the concept stands the same in the real world. There are many individuals who have made fortunes by making the right decisions with real estate, i.e.: Donald Trump, Gary Keller, Robert Kiyosaki, Grant Cardone to name a few.
The Rich Uncle Pennybags Strategy
In the strategy of the game, “Monopoly involves a portion of luck, with the roll of the dice determining whether a player gets to own key properties, or lands on squares with high rents. Even the initial misfortune of going last is a significant disadvantage because one is more likely to land on property which has already been bought. This therefore causes the player to be forced to pay rent instead of having an opportunity to buy unowned property”. There are, however, many strategic decisions which allow skilled players to win more often than the unskilled.
The goal is to become and stayed informed on current market situations. Be a “skilled player.”
Unlike monopoly, being a skilled player is what happens when preparation meets opportunity in our world. Staying ready, so you never have to get ready is key. This brings “deals”, while others miss the opportunities. We’re working towards growing and maintaining our real estate portfolio, are you? Let’s stay ahead of the curve in our journey to becoming successful in the real estate industry. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness OR as we see it… Property!
How we see it (our manifesto):
Life: You may have won or lost your ovarian lottery but fact is you’re here. Believe it or not, this is YOUR life. It is your opportunity. We can’t tell you why you exist but you should make the most of it! Life is how you live and navigate in the world. It’s how you spend your time, who you spend your time with. The thoughts you ponder and the places you choose to be.
Liberty: Give me liberty, or give me death! Foremost, liberty is freedom. It is marching to your own drum beat with no one else forcing you to sing their chorus. Freedom isn’t truly free and autonomy comes at a price. We believe that liberty can be manifested by having income that lets you do what you want. This central tenant is what we hold most dear; all others are merely a vehicle to help us gain and sustain independence of thought and action.
Property: Income generating assets (real estate or otherwise) are a means to an end. Property is a vehicle for ownership. Ownership gives you control, and control is fundamental to personal liberty. By having control of your income and finances, position and employment, possession and autonomy, the present and future are yours. Like our Rich Uncle Pennybags, Property is simply the game of Monopoly in the real world.
